# Asset Guide

## 1. Images
- **Format:** WebP primary, AVIF where supported, JPEG fallback.
- **Naming:** `section-descriptor-width.webp` (e.g., `hero-renaissance-1440.webp`).
- **Optimization:** Use TinyPNG or ImageOptim. Keep large heroes under 300kb if possible.

## 2. Icons
- **Format:** SVG only.
- **Usage:** Inline in HTML or via a sprite sheet to allow CSS manipulation of `fill` and `stroke`.
- **Style:** Thin lines (1px or 1.5px), geometric, elegant.

## 3. Fonts
- **Format:** WOFF2 only.
- **Loading:** Preload critical fonts in the `<head>`.
